Activities 2010

The year 2010 has already begun and despite the cold and dreary weather we are busy making plans for the upcoming show and breeding season.

We plan to show our two mares "Ophelia del Gavilan" and "La Paloma del Caron" at the Paso Fino Spring Classics (May) and of course at the European Championships in late July. We are especially excited about Ophelia since it will be her first "real" show season. She was shown once at last year's Paso Fino Fiesta after only a few months of training and did very well.

Welcome

...at the "DEL SASTRE PASO FINO" website. What started in spring, 1998 with the purchase of our first Paso Fino mare has now developed into a small but high quality breeding program, the only one in Saxony and one of the very few in Germany. Our goal is not to own or breed a high number of horses but a Paso Fino horse of exceptional quality and talent which is easy to handle, offers fun out on the trail and is well gaited enough to be a serious competitor in the show ring. The happy and satisfied owners of "DEL SASTRE" horses show that we are on the right way.

What makes us different in comparison to the bigger stud farms is the fact that we only have a small number of horses and are therefore able to care individually for each and everyone of our horses. They are a part of the family and reward us every day again with their gentle behaviour and their will to please. Visitors are always welcome by prior appointment.
